Bio
Cassandra is a TV, film and stage actress and a voice over artist from Malta.
The television and the theatre have been her top favourite escapes from a young age. She has always loved drama and eager to take part in her school plays, in which in those early years, she played Cinderella’s stepmother.
Between her projects, she loves cooking, travelling, reading, photography, nature walks, and practices interior styling and decoration.
Cassandra works in Maltese, English and Italian projects. Her acting career was introduced in 2018, where she landed her first role in the Maltese TV Drama ‘L-Għarusa’, playing the lead role of Bettina Gauci Fontana. Later on she portrayed Antonella Abela in the short film ‘Encounter’, where she won the Best Actress Award in the 2022 Malta Short Film Festival Awards.
Other TV and film work includes Netflix’s limited series ‘War Sailor’, ‘Un Weekend Particolare’, ‘Sniper: G.R.I.T’, ‘Classified’, ‘Count of Monte Cristo’ and ‘Band of Spies’, ‘Serena’ and short films ‘Survival’, ‘Justice For All!’ and ‘Ħeddiela’ (‘Nightmare’), followed by other work such as ‘(UN)SILENCED’ promo, The Travellers’ music video ‘Siġġu Vojt’, and Marks and Spencer Malta, Grey & Adler and Brillace Café commercials.
Cassandra has also done various voiceover work for TV, radio & social media commercials.
She has also worked on stage productions. Her theatre debut was playing the character of Pat Green in the play ‘Breaking The Code’ , followed by ‘It-Taqtigħa’ at the 2022 Pageant of the Seas for commemorating the 80th anniversary of The Santa Marija Convoy, and ‘The Haunting’ for TOI TOI at the Manoel Theatre. Recently she wrapped up from Henrik Ibsen's classical 'Hedda Gabler', playing the role of Thea Elvsted, followed by Nerissa in Shakespeare’s ‘The Merchant Of Venice’.
